ARTC Keeps You Informed
- We promote unity with our over 6,000 members, including 12 local affiliate organizations.
- We are dedicated to promoting the economic, professional and social well-being of Connecticuts’ Teachers in Retirement.
- We are an advocate at the Capitol for the benefits of retired teachers and are focused on making sure retired teachers are aware of proposed changes to their income tax, pension and health insurance benefits through email and newsletters.
- We are committed to cooperation with other organizations to address our common concerns
Pension Security
Our organization is committed to preserving a Defined Benefit pension for retired teachers. Defined Benefit pension plans have been questioned all over the country. Together, we can defend your Defined Benefit pension.
ARTC works tirelessly in the Connecticut legislature to protect your benefits. ARTC pays for an experienced lobbyist to provide legislative representation, propose legislation and obtain legislative sponsors. We work with fellow organizations on behalf of ARTC members at the Capitol.
