Southwest Connecticut Inc.
200 Connecticut Avenue
Norwalk, CT 06854

Junior Achievement of Southwest Connecticut (JASWCT), established in 1975, educates and inspires young people to value free enterprise, business and economics in order to improve the quality of their lives. Our core purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JASWCT is able to fulfill its purpose through partnerships between the business, retirees, parents and the education communities. As a result, students (Kindergarten thru 12th grade) have the opportunity to meet volunteers and benefit from their “real world” experience through our various programs. During the 2007 - 2008 program year, over 13,700 students participated in the communities of Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westport and Weston.

JA takes volunteers from the community and puts them face-to-face with our students through the simplest form of human contact - sharing. We pride ourselves in developing innovative programs to educate young people about business and economics and help prepare them for fulfilling careers.
